Art of the Soul (AOS) annual exhibit is held annually during the month of February. The exhibit displays artists of various mediums including sculpture, photography film, painting, and other visual aspects. We incorporate workshops hosted by organizations that are centered on the exhibits theme. The theme for AOS's annual exhibit for 2011 is the complex issue of rape, prostitution/sex workers, and sex trafficking. We invite organizations and artists internationally to support our mission by becoming an AOS artist, volunteering, hosting a workshop, or displaying our exhibit in local communities.
How to Get Involved
Participate as an AOS Artist
Include your works into our curated art exhibit! Artists are invited to share their viewpoint concerning the woman's global experience. We include painting, photography, film, sculpture, and other forms of tangible art.
Invite AOS Exhibit to Your Hometown
Affiliated with a gallery, organization, or have a vacant space you would like to donate to our mission? Invite AOS exhibit and workshops to your local community! We travel domestically and internationally to expand the education and awareness of critical but common issues affecting women within our population.
Contribute to our Blog
Our blog (coming soon), aims to unite women from around the world by creating an online platform for women of various backgrounds and geographic locations to support one another while staying informed.
Volunteer or Intern
Art of the Soul is a not-for-profit organization and to obtain our long-term goals and to maintain affective within our communities, we seek volunteers and/or interns to help with short and long-term projects. This can be as flexible as volunteering during our annual exhibit or interning to take part in the planning and operations of our programs and travels throughout the year.
Donate!
Art of the Soul is a not-for-profit and each contribution no matter how small or big can help with various projects. It can help to fund smaller item expenses such as supplies or shipping costs for our exhibit or can be as large as funding a program in poverty stricken communities globally. We are thankful and humble for all donations regardless of amount, every cent matters!
